The title refers to the flight of butterflies and their speed and trajectories. Butterflies are all wings and no sound and they flash by faster than our eyes can follow. The materials involved include acrylic paint, Japanese rice paper, sumi-e ink, handmade momigami paper, tissue paper, gold leaf, poster paper, tea-stained teabag paper, raffia fibre. Handmade indicates made by the artist. The Chinese ink on rice paper fragments are also sumi-e paintings by the artist.
