Workshop description: The painting of skies and water can be challenging for any artist and often requires serious consideration. In this two day workshop, I will pass on some of the ways I approach these subjects as they relate to a scene in a painting. Whether it be stormy seas and a tumultuous sky, or a placid lake on a sunny day, we will use the principles of colour, shape and light to bring a strong sense of life into our paintings.
About the Instructor: Dale has been painting for most of his life. Six years ago, he became a full time painter and in that time has won much praise and many accolades, including earning senior status in the Federation of Canadian Artists, and as a Signature member of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists. Dale's medium of choice is acrylics which he employs skillfully in both his marine paintings and landscapes. Dale is also a proud member of the South Delta Artists Guild and a regular exhibitor.
