"Every painting is a voyage into a sacred harbour." — Giotto Di Bondone Vibrant splashes of colour and texture on a teal and white background. This is my first oil and cold wax piece… there’s a long story of how this image evolved and the multiple layers underneath. Suffice it to say that there is an initial acrylic underpainting, then collage (with the words “heart and soul of art”), several coats of clear gesso, and then cold wax medium and oil. This piece can be hung vertically or horizontally.
