Barb Glass
| Barbara (nee Barbara Painter - in case any school friends want to get in touch!) grew up in Campbell River on Vancouver Island and following her marriage, has lived in Tsawwassen, British Columbia since 1970. She has been an active member of the South Delta Artists' Guild since 1982 and during that time has studied under many artists in watercolour, acrylic, collage and coloured pencil. At an early age, Barbara had an interest in "capturing the moment" with photography which continued with her many trips through Western and Eastern Europe. This photography, along with the fact that she was influenced by her grandmother, who was an artist, sparked her interest in painting. She enjoys gardening and flowers from her garden are often subjects of her paintings. |
